iPhone Duo Is Apple’s First Foldable Phone. Surprise, It’s Expensive by James Peckham

Apple bided its time on a foldable phone as many of its rivals released different versions over the last eight years. Now, it’s Apple’s turn to show off foldable-screen tech, and it’s called the iPhone Duo. iPhone Duo – Apple It’s a passport-style foldable phone, meaning it’s shorter and wider than a lot of rivals. The inner display is 7.6-inch, while the outer display is 5.4-inch, with both sporting a 1:4 aspect ratio to help transitions between screens feel more seamless. The iPhone Duo doesn’t come in a 128GB option; it starts at 256GB of storage for $1,999. That’s lower than some had expected, and only slightly higher than rivals with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8and Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold, both costing $1,899.99. The 512GB option is $2,199, 1TB is $2,599, and 2TB is $3,199. There are options to use Apple Upgrade to help you lease your phone, which may be helpful for its expensive top-end options. The iPhone Duo will be available in October, with preorders starting on Oct. 16.  iPhone Duo Is Apple’s First Foldable Phone. Surprise, It’s Expensive! | PCMag
